Milad Tower, also known as the Tehran Tower

From every corner of the town you enter, you can see Tehran Milad Tower; a standing still column, tall and glorious which catches everyone’s eye with its height. This huge tower which nowadays is known as the symbol of Tehran city, is the sixth tallest telecommunication tower and also the 19th tallest tower in the world which is built in the north of Tehran with the area of 13 thousands square meters.
Today Milad tower is known as the symbol of modernism and development of Tehran city and is the host for holding different conventions ,concerts and exciting ceremonies. In 2009, the opening of this glorious tower took place with the maxim of “the sky is nearby” .
The height of this tower is 435 meters and its head structure along with its different parts including open observation deck, sky dome, closed observation deck, museum of celebrities, café and other facilities is
visited by interested people.
Tower foot building (lobby) consists of ground floor which is dedicated
to the entrance of visitors ,the top floors consist of food court restaurants and Iranian handicrafts and also its lower floor is related to Kidzania (kid’s career city).

Other information

6 high speed elevators with the speed of seven meters per second are located in the three sides of main body which take the visitors to head structure in 40 seconds.
This tower with its beautiful and unique architecture beside helping and promoting wireless network, radio and television coverage, weather and traffic control, is converted to an important tourism attraction center which attracts many passengers from far away and nearby distances.
