Overview

Music in Iran has a long history and goes back to ancient Iran. Iran is a rich and diverse source of music and traditional Persian music is one of the components of Persian culture and art. Almost all Iranians have their own local music.

From the fourth to ninth centuries, Persian music was in a remarkable state. Most scholars and philosophers have devoted their work to music in their books and treatises. Various countries, such as Greece, Turkey, Central Asian countries, etc. have been influenced by Persian music (traditional Iranian or classical music). This music is older than the history of the time and has been transmitted from time to time, and the most popular parts are still alive today.

Flash back to Persian music history:

In ancient Iran, a group of drums and drums played drums and kernels as the sun rose and dipped. In Avesta, the Yasana section says doctors treated their patients with Iranian music. At that time there were three types of traditional (religious), folk, and martial music, as well as special celebrations of nature and national and historical Iranian music. During the Achaemenid era, hymns and songs were sung during the wars and festivities of the same name today in Ilam and western Iran.)
